Each year paint companies make their predictions of upcoming design and decor trends. We have gathered them here – 2022 paint color of the year by brands.
Every year we love to see what color the major paint retailers have chosen as their annual pick. In years past, we have been surprised so many times. Aubergine, chartreuse, charcoal…so many bold choices. This year we are most surprised by the fact that almost all companies have chosen the same color. 2022 Behr Paint Color of the Year

Sea Glass Green is probably our most favorite of all of these colors. It would be a perfect shade for your front door, porch ceiling, bathroom or laundry room.
Valspar Paint Color of the Year 2022
Valspar made a bold move and announced 12 colors of the year. Their top choice is Blanched Thyme 6001-4A.
This shade is a bit to bright for our tastes, however, it does look great on these bookshelves.
Why it’s trending
Natural greens help us refocus on our physical and mental well-being. This shade promotes a space that is grounding, inside and out.
Farrow and Ball 2022
Breakfast Room Green, is great for making a room look bigger by disguising the limits of the space. The bold use of this one colour also creates a perfect background for art, or for furniture which can be upcycled with a lick of modern eggshell.
Breakfast Room Green has just a tinge of blue in it, offering a calming effect.
Glidden Paint Color of the Year 2022
Guacamole is the perfect name for this shade of green. We could see this in the living room or family room.
