Colorful Spring Front Porch Decor

Sit back and settle in for a super fun and exciting tour – Celebrate Spring Blog Hop! This post kicks off a week of Spring home decor and inspiration with some of our favorite blogger friends! You will get to see Spring porches, mantels, entryways, DIY ideas and tablescapes! Hopefully you have visited us from our fab friend Michelle of Our Crafty Mom. Her front porch and tips are perfect for small porch decorating! Without further adieu, here is our colorful Spring front porch decor.

Buh Bye Winter

Not pretending to be the National Weather Service, but they reported that Winter in Georgia this year was the coldest and the wettest in many, many years. Needless to say, we are ready for a bright, sunshiney, colorful Spring. Speaking of which – experiencing Spring in our part of Georgia is absolutely beautiful! We are fortunate to see blooming dogwoods, forsythia, camellias, azaleas, daffodils and so much more. After spending most of the Winter indoors, we are ready for some outdoor action!

The Greeter

When decorating the front porch, I typically start with the front door. Think of the the door as The Greeter to your home. It should be friendly, inviting and have personality. I was with my bestie, Bambi, when I purchased this cute “Bee Happy” sign. At the time, I didn’t even know what I was going to do with it. It’s perfect hanging above the basket filled with faux peonies, hydrangeas and lambs ear. We try to purchase faux florals that look as authentic as possible.

This cute welcome basket is a perfect greeting too.

Hopefully, all visitors to my home will “Bee Happy”. Admittedly, we don’t really have a lot visitors right now – but, we’re ready!

For me, Spring is all about, new growth, and vibrant colors. It’s still a bit early in our area of the world for floral baskets, but I did manage to find a couple.

This adorable concrete bunny looks like he’s sniffing the flowers.

As a money-saving idea, we like to buy hanging baskets of flowers and repot them in our own pots.

Last year I purchased these self-watering planters. They are a lifesaver, or should I say plant saver? Especially when the Summer months roll around!

I’ve had these cute metal garden stakes for many years. I just love to add a touch of whimsey to planters.

I hope that you have enjoyed our Colorful Spring Front Porch Decor – and that you may have been inspired in some small way. Do you have Spring Fever yet?

Up next is our sweet friend Leen of Sand Dollar Lane and coordinator of this hop! Who wouldn’t love to decorate a pergola for Spring?
