My children live far away, so traditions have changed. I guess putting out my moms vintage ornaments I inherited bring back the tradition of them coming out every year since the 1950s. Watching Its a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve and dreaming of happier times.

  2. My favorite tradition is decorating…pulling out all the old boxes and enjoying the memories!

  3. Love your blog. So enjoy your creativity and use of thrifted finds. Congratulations on the new additionšŸ˜

  4. Rosellen Siebenthal says:

I have a place setting on my table for those who have passed. We who sit at the table can name anyone who’s love one has passed and say a prayer for them.

  5. Decorating the tree and house while listening to Christmas carols.

  6. I love sitting in our living room with only the lights from our tree listening to Christmas music.

  7. The printable calendar is lovely. I especially like the prints with birds and the rich colors of the dark red flowers. Three traditions we follow — getting out ornaments made by our son as a child, displaying the ceramic nativity set I painted 35 years ago, and putting out special decorative Christmas cards received over the years.

  8. Kim Henrichs says:

My favorite holiday tradition is two-fold…getting new pajamas on Christmas Eve and opening one gift on Christmas Eve. So special!
    I follow on all accounts!
    Merry Christmas!

  9. PATRICIA C SCOTT says:

my favorite tradition is using the family ornaments and making my grandmother’s Christmas recipes during the holiday season. And setting her dining room table (now it is mine)

  10. Thanks for the new calendar, and for the opportunity to win! My fave holiday tradition is probably seeing the lights with my children and grandchildren.

  11. Jenny Young says:

My favorite tradition is that we don’t follow tradition. Yes we decorate, give gifts, celebrate, ect but it never looks the same from year to year. Because our families were so spread out as my husband & I raised our own family, we learned to celebrate on the fly & be very flexible. So this year we still don’t know what we’re having for dinner; we may get take out…or what day it will be; hopefully the first day my husband is off work. For Thanksgiving we had a bonfire in a clearing in our woods, roasted hot dogs & marshmallows, walked a woodland trail in the dark to the lake to look for beavers. I’m hoping Christmas will be just as special.

  12. Christmas Breakfast with our parents has now turned our parents, our children & their spouses, and our grandchildren. Our table is so full but so is my heart. It most likely wonā€™t happen this year, but I will just look more forward to next year!!!

  13. My favorite traditions are watching “A Christmas Carol” and spending time with my family eating delicious treats and playing games.

  14. There are many old AND new traditions! Hanging stockings, participating in the Giving Tree, and candle light service. I mean, you get to hold a real, lit candle IN church!! Merry Christmas!

  15. I’ve been a blog follower for awhile, but now I’m also following you on Pinterest and Instagram. Thanks for the giveaway.
My favorite holiday tradition is to have a delicious Christmas Eve dinner and a relaxing Christmas Day brunch.

  16. My favorite holiday tradition is making homemade eggnog using Alton Brown’s recipe. It’s delicious.

  17. My favourite holiday tradition is singing Christmas carols with family.

  18. What a gorgeous calendar! Someone is going to be so happy to win this giveaway. I’m so glad that it is what we decided to do this month for our TST project.

  19. Its a beautiful calendar. Thank you for sharing new calendar. My favorite tradition is Christmas its a joy bringing tradition.

  20. Dawn Keenan says:

My favorite tradition is at the end of the night on Christmas Eve, we sit down, have hot chocolate and watch the original Grinch. We even have Grinch mugs.

  21. I love the calendar! Thank you so much for the download!

My favorite holiday tradition is decorating cookies with the kids on Christmas Eve after dinner. We started when the now-35-year-old was 10 and now we do it with the baby grands, though they aren’t much help, except in the tasting department (sprinkles and colored sugars are almost as tough to clean up as glitter!) This year will be the first missed, but that’s so we can do it for many more Christmas Eves to come!

  22. Alyce Poalillo says:

This calendar is beautiful! The family is small and scattered now so not many traditions survive. But I remember when I was a child the weekend before Christmas we, my grandfather, mom and I , would walk(sometimes in the snow) to a nearby tree lot and pick up a tree and carry it home and decorate it. I always looked forward to that each year. The simple family things seemed to mean more back then.

  23. I grew up in northern Brazil and it never got cold on Christmas. There were no pine trees so my Dad got a dead tree with no leaves and painted it white. He then put cotton on the branches. We then decorated it like a regular tree. Christmas Day was warm. No matter the tree it was still Christmas to our family.

  24. Having Italian wedding soup and pizzas on Christmas Eve with the family .

  25. We bought a cabin last year in Ellijay and now that is our family tradition. My family comes in from OK and we all spend Christmas at the cabin. It so nice to get away and just enjoy each other!

  26. Amy Cooley says:

My favorite holiday tradition is when our family puts the Christmas tree up. We make a day of it with snacks and holiday music and I love reminiscing over all the ornaments we’ve collected. Merry Christmas! ([email protected])

  27. Our Christmas Eve meal is cheese fondue and appetizers and we all look forward to it all year.

  28. Debra K Casebere says:

I have my mother’s large nativity set and it’s the first thing I get out every year. She was an Avon lady for 25 years and collected all the pieces that were released each year.

  29. Audrey Stewart says:

Every Christmas we, as a family, have a Lasagna dinner on Christmas Eve, then we all go to Midnight Mass. My sister-in-law is a cloisterd nun, and for the last few years, she has been able to leave the convent and spend tha holidays with us. But, not this year, due to the pandemic. All the nuns are Covid free and they, and all of us, would like to keep it that way, so we will not keep up our family tradition.

  30. Good Morning!
My favorite tradition is baking and making candy for gifts!

  31. Beverley Glesener says:

My favourite tradition is putting up the tree and remembering the memories associated with each ornament as they are unwrapped and put on the tree.

  32. We have a special tradition on Christmas eve when our family gathers around the grandchildren to open gifts,we place a quilt on the floor made by their great-great grandmother which is called “The Ceremonial Quilt”. They can’t wait to see that quilt come out from the closet. This maybe the last year for the quilt to be on the floor because they are getting older but not to fear I will place that quilt on a table for them so great-great grandmother will still be with them.

  33. Karenann S. says:

My favorite holiday traditions are decorating the house with all Christmas and baking a ton of goodies for everyone to enjoy!

  34. I am having a hard time this year as some traditions will be set aside, modified or changed to accommodate 2020. But there is hope for the future and I am inspired to see my daughters begin new traditions with their own families. Thank you for the printable calendar, the art work is so fresh and beautiful. The giveaway is very generous, good luck to all who enter the drawing.

  35. We go downtown to New Orleans and tour the hotels and gorgeous decorations for Christmas Eve.
I follow you on Facebook šŸŽ„Merry Christmas!!

  36. I love the night that my husband and children and I decorate the tree, as they each take pride in putting up favorite ornaments that they each have acquired from years past. It’s one group activity that we can do every year regardless of how old our kids (now 14 and 11) are.
I also love decorating the mantel and tables in our entry way and family and dining rooms because it brings the holiday cheer that is usually adorned outside in stores, street lamps into our own home space. Especially during COVID when we spend so much time at home, it makes it feel like even if many of our holiday rituals have changed, decorating our home has not and the holidays are still all around us.

  37. My favorite holiday tradition is playing Christmas music while decorating the tree

  38. Gail A Holcomb says:

For years we have given our two daughters a gift to open on Christmas Eve which includes matching pajamas and a book plus a puzzle for the family to enjoy. That way on Christmas morning they will be matching for pictures under the tree!
