Today we are sharing our simple spring front door decor.

Decorating my front door area for Spring proved to be a bit tricky. On the days that I was at home, the weather gods didn’t cooperate. I had just completed finishing touches for the front porch when a quick storm with wind gusts blew through. Our porch umbrella fell, breaking some plant pots and damaged plants. Shifting gears, I created our spring front door decor.

Thanks to Amy of White Cottage Home and Living for creating this Spring Porch tour! Be sure to visit our friends and their Spring Porches at the bottom of this post!

Also, if you read our post on Monday about our new family member, Gus, – you can only imagine what a sweet distraction he is. Our front door mat has a double meaning…Hooray! you’re here Gus. And Hooray, you’re here at our front door.

When I was cleaning out our garage I discovered this urn. It is the perfect planter for these beautiful pink petunias.

Typically I am not a pink girl, but this season the color spoke to me.

The mixture of light and dark pink in one planter is so pretty.

Last spring I purchased this pretty paper flower wreath on 75% off clearance.

The little buds look so authentic.

I moved the wine barrel table from the porch to the front door. The aqua pot is from HomeGoods and adds another pop of color to the front door.

This is the top that I purchased for just $5.00. It fits perfectly on top of this metal stand.

Delicate pink blooms peek out from the vines.

My sweet friend Linda gifted me these blue haze vines for my birthday. I’m happy to report that they are still alive after 2 weeks time. LOL

Most importantly is the assistance of my gardener Gus!! 😂

Saying that I am in love is an understatement. Gus is absolutely adorable and loving.

He crawled all through these flowers as I was planting them in their pots. Gus is a definite ladies man and he tugs at my heartstrings everyday. Love is an understatement!
