Welcome to Week 4 of the kitchen makeover update. This week is all about champagne bronze kitchen cabinet hardware.
This post is sponsored by Liberty Hardware, but all opinions are my own.
Selecting kitchen cabinet hardware is like choosing the perfect statement piece of jewelry. You want it to stand out to be noticed but at the same time you don’t want it to be too glitzy or gaudy. There are so many hardware choices on the market. Compound this with even more choices to make with finishes – bronze, oiled bronze, antique bronze, brass, bright brass…well, you get the idea. Literally my head was spinning with so many ideas. Then one day I saw a cabinet hardware finish I had never seen before and I just knew that I had found “the one”. I discovered Liberty Hardware’s champagne bronze cabinet hardware. There was no turning back for me.
Having a Moment with Champagne
After painting the kitchen cabinets I wanted a completely different look with the hardware too. The champagne bronze kitchen cabinet hardware finish is unlike anything that I had personally seen before. It’s not gold and shiny like traditional brass, nor is it rose-colored like some other brasses. It has a very warm toned glow and classic finish.
And the Winner Is
After perusing through a multitude of choices my heart fell for this beautiful Drum Knob. It’s like a pretty crown for all of my drawer fronts.
For the cabinet doors I really wanted to change things up. Previously, the cabinets had a stainless steel knob. Liberty Hardware makes this gorgeous Bauhaus Bar Pull with the champagne bronze finish.
I can’t tell you the tremendous difference this has made in not only the look of our cabinetry, but also the convenience of opening and closing them.
Honestly, the kitchen cabinet doors should have always had handles on them in my opinion.
So much more substantial looking and a classic up-to-date feature. Both selections are truly the crown jewels of the cabinets and I am so happy with my choices.

By the way – this true position tool is a time-saver! Do you know how hard it is to get two holes perfectly aligned? Especially on 22 cabinet doors. This is a cabinet hardware template that helps with installation of handles. It makes sure that your handles will be perfectly installed.
You know exactly where the two holes need to be drilled – no mistakes at all! This hardware jig clamps everything tightly into place – no need for you to have 8 hands LOL. The drill never slips or skids so there is no damage to your cabinetry.
We found THE SAME true position tool on Amazon.

Most big-box hardware stores have this tool available for rental too. Trust me – it is well worth it!
Now, I don’t want to show too much to you right now. I want to save it all for the reveal in a couple of weeks.
Next week will be a BIG post as I will show you the backsplash, the new dining room chandelier and the table added to the wall in the kitchen
