Now that mom lives about an hour away, we aren’t able to get together as often as we like. This weekend we were fortunate enough to spend the day doing one of our favorite pastimes, antique shopping. We were also joined by my aunt and cousin and had just the best time. It didn’t hurt that we also found some great little goodies. If you follow us on Instagram, you know what we mean 🙂 Hopefully y’all had as much fun this weekend as we did.
Last week I showed you my buffalo check inspired tablescape and mantel. Today, I am sharing with you the dining room in its entirety. And I have to say, I think this is my favorite Christmas tree I’ve done yet. After I got everything done, I was almost wishing my buffalo check Christmas dining room was my buffalo check Christmas living room lol.
The buffalo check theme came about when mom found these adorable place mats and plates. Then the ideas just kept flowing of what we could incorporate in the dining room.
The buffalo check Christmas tree banner was a lucky find in the Target dollar spot. I bought extra so I could take two of them apart to make them into ornaments and accent pieces.
The buffalo check sack is again another Target find and the North Pole sack was a great find at HomeGoods last year. I did see some again there this year though.
The tree really came together with buffalo check ribbon and cute ornaments. It definitely has a rustic feel, which I absolutely love. This would be the perfect decor for a cabin I wish I owned.
I hope you’re as much in love with the buffalo check as I am. Later this week I will be showing you more of my home decor, so stay tuned.
