Hey there…hope everyone is having a great week. Today, I ask for everyones positive well wishes. I have my doctor visit today and hope that I get this darn hard cast removed today! Fingers crossed šŸ™‚

It has been majorly problematic to get a whole lot accomplished these past few weeks, but I have managed. I was even able to make my favorite Creamy Italian Dressing. There were some plump, juicy, vegetable stand tomatoes calling my name. I wanted to use them in a simple salad with this yummy dressing on top. I maneuvered my chair into the kitchen and set to work.

Recipe for creamy Italian dressing. Love the red wine vinegar and garlic flavor!I created this dressing many years ago as a young bride. My Honey Bee and I had gone out to a “fancy” dinner one night and I ordered a creamy dressing. I loved the dressing but I couldn’t get the recipe fromĀ them. I was determined to recreate it at home…and this is what I came up with:

Creamy Italian Dressing Recipeā€¦

Serving Size: Makes 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup good mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 TBS milk
  • 1 TBS minced fresh garlic
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • Optional...basil as garnish

Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill. Best if made ahead at least 4 hours...but not necessary.

May keep in fridge for one week.
