Spring is at its peak in our area. We are excited to share 12 DIY flower garden ideas.
At this time of year we are very fortunate to live in the part of the country where we do. If you are familiar with the Master’s Golf Tournament, it takes place about an hour up the road from us. Our area is all abuzz with activity, golfers, traffic and fun. More importantly if you have ever seen the golf tournament on television you might have caught a glimpse of the gorgeous spring foliage. It is what the Augusta National Golf Club is famous for. Well, other than the tournament LOL. Right now that is what it looks like outside of our homes. Everything is in full bloom. Azaleas, dogwoods, red-tips, may haw, pink magnolia, cherry trees, lilacs and so much more. All of our trees and shrubs are just a riot of color and it is glorious. That’s why we are thrilled that this month’s DIY Housewives Series is celebrating 12 DIY flower garden ideas.
From Eww to Ooh La La
You may remember that this series celebrates posts from our past. Last year our friends Darlene and Scott gifted us this wire spool cable. They also gave us a much larger wooden one that we reimagined into an Outdoor Industrial Coffee Table and a No Wake Zone Sign for the guest bedroom.

The casters have been great and have made it easy to roll the plant stand stand around to different locations.
After one year it still looks great!
We had such a hot summer though that I do need to purchase new flowering plants.
These did well from April until about mid-July. We went out of town for just a few days and they didn’t make it.
The plant stand has done very well outside, uncovered in the weather elements.
