How is everyone feeling during the rush of the holidays? I know that it can be overwhelming sometimes. That is one of the reasons that I love to decorate my home for Christmas so early. Part of it is because of my business…this blog – bringing ideas to you for your home. The other reason that I like to decorate early is that I get to enjoy my Christmas decor and home for much longer. The mess of the storage bins are put away – I can relax and let the season unfold. This fantastic Merry Christmas sign was the inspiration for my decor this year. After looking to Pinterest for Christmas tree inspiration, I already knew that I wanted to decorate with red and white. When our family was on a fall mountain cabin trip in October, Jenn and I spotted this sign in a cute shop in Blue Ridge. I just knew that it would be perfect above the fireplace mantel.
