My mantel is typically the first thing I decorate at the first hint of a new season. Here is a Blue White and Orange Fall Mantel

Did you notice anything new? Last week I shared a mantel decor update. I added sconce lights that don’t need electrical wiring, as well as a vintage inspired mirror. These new additions are so clean and fresh, The look is the perfect backdrop for a Blue White and Orange Fall Mantel.

Welcome to the Celebrate Fall Home Tour

Don’t you love visiting the homes of decor bloggers and finding new fall ideas and inspiration for your home? I definitely do! By the way, hopefully you found me by way of Amy of Amy Sadler Designs. Wasn’t her fall kitchen lovely?

Today I’m excited to join 23 other bloggers for the Celebrate Fall Home Tour hosted by our friend Leen from Sand Dollar Lane.  You can find links to everyone’s ideas at the bottom of this post. But first, please take a tour of my blue white and orange fall mantel ideas.

My typical everyday living room decor is blue and white. Adding bits of orange is the perfect compliment for fall.

Two years ago I gave my fireplace an update by doing a makeover with blue and white sticker tiles. YES, these are beautiful stickers. After two years, I am happy to say that they have held up very well and still look great.

Adding a candle is always a good idea. I made this coffee mug candle using fall fragrances of clove, orange and cinnamon bark. It makes the room smell cozy and inviting.

This year I also tried my hand at transforming faux pumpkins in a new way. I created a stoneware finish on cheap plastic pumpkins. They turned out great!

Honestly, they look and feel like real stoneware. Plus they look great nestled together on the mantel.

For many years now, I have collected dried gourds. They are quintessentially fall and they set the color palette for the fall mantel. I love how one gourd looks like an apple and the larger one resembles a pear.

Dried florals finish the look as their height adds a center focal point.

They look extra special placed inside of a chinoiserie ginger jar.

No post is complete without my sweet Gus making an appearance. LOL As if he doesn’t already get enough attention!

An oversized basket is perfect for extra blankets or throws. You never know who might be chilly while watching television.

I hope that you have been inspired in some small way by my fall mantel. Don’t forget to visit all of the other fabulous tours below. You won’t be disappointed! Next on the tour is my friend Suzy of Worthing Court. Her kitchen and breakfast room are beautifully decorated for fall!
