Make your home look festive with Patriotic Coffee Table Decor

Creating 4th of July vignettes and displays are so much fun! This is how I created my patriotic coffee table decor.

Do you decorate your home for the 4th of July? I typically do a bit of decorating for this holiday. We usually host a cookout followed by viewing a big fireworks display down at the lake. Obviously, last year, these festivities were cancelled. I am so excited to be able to celebrate with family and friends again!

Red White and Blue

Usually most of my red, white and blue decor is outside, like my Patriotic 4th of July Porch. This year I have been crafting and making things that I can use inside the house.

Last week I shared with you how to make Patriotic Stamped Book Stacks as well as an Easy Patriotic Pinwheel Wreath. I love to create seasonal decor that doesn’t break the bank.

Recently, I visited my local Hobby Lobby store. I was super excited when I spotted this little red wagon!

After texting this pic to Jenn, she confirmed that it would be perfect! Lucky for me – the 4th of July decor was 50% off. By the way, on this visit to Hobby Lobby – ALL of the fall decor was already on display. An employee told me that the next day they were going to start putting out the Christmas decor 😳 Can you believe it?

I gathered supplies and decor items that I thought would look good for my patriotic display. Ultimately I used:

  • miniature red wagon
  • blue and white checked fabric remnants
  • hydrangeas from my yard
  • antique cream pitcher
  • blue wood bead garland
  • 4 small American flags
  • star embellishment
  • patriotic stamped book stack
  • antique silver salt shaker with flag toothpicks

The only new item used was the wagon. Everything else I had at home.

Previously, I have mentioned that my bestie Bambi made the blue wood bead garland for me.

She is so talented!

This antique cream pitcher is beautiful. It is the perfect vase for my beloved hydrangeas.

Creating patriotic coffee table decor takes just a few minutes. I hope that you have been inspired in some small way today. Jenn and I would love to see what you have created!
