Build a New Life in the Country is an older British show that is just now gaining popularity in the US. Each episode, an architectural designer, guides people that want to leave the rat-race of big-city life behind for an idyllic new life in the countryside. Sometimes these homes are in the English countryside, other times they are in France or a Caribbean island. The beautiful homes they create are diverse and amazing. We are currently viewing this show on Prime, but it is also available on IMDbtv and YouTube.

Favorite Instagrammer This Week

Amanda Rettke (@iambaker) is a fabulous dessert blogger over at I Am Baker. She always has the best recipes and most beautiful photos of her culinary creations. But – that’s not all. She is also very witty, funny and charming. In the blogging and influencer world, people can be mean and hateful. Amanda makes light of her haters by starring as Shirley, a Minnesotan customer service representative who fields complaints for the “Your Content Is Terrible Hotline”. She’s hysterical and we just love her!

Well it’s not really a new book, but it is one of our faves. It’s called The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse and it’s a book we read to Everett every week. It truly has some of the best messages and is a book anyone can enjoy. We’re not lying when we say it is one of the most beautiful books we’ve ever read. Have you read it before?
