Crockpot Hot Chocolate, perfect for the holidays!

It is hard for me to comprehend that Christmas is just four short days away! Our sweet Baby Bee will already be one month old this week. Time is flying by and I don’t seem to be quite ready for the holiday. One thing is certain. With all of the hustle and bustle, the last thing that I want to do is spend even more time in the kitchen. I like to sit back and relax with a delicious cup of hot chocolate. My mug may or may not have a little something extra 😉 Here’s a great way to make a batch for your holiday group – crockpot hot chocolate.

Let’s face it, the holidays can be stressful. Especially this year when everything is so different for most of us. I am always looking for ways to minimize kitchen-time and stress. Looking through my old recipes, I came across my mother’s recipe for crockpot hot chocolate. I made it last Christmas, and it was a hit. Rich, creamy chocolate that can be made in the crockpot.

My crockpot has been getting a workout as of late. I love THIS one too.

Have you ever tasted unsweetened chocolate? I remember as a kid biting into one of the squares and being shocked and bitterly disappointed LOL. Needless to say, I never did that again! But, mixed in the crockpot with all of the other ingredients makes the hot chocolate decadently delicious.

Don’t forget the chips
