Today is Vicki’s birthday, so we will be celebrating all weekend long! There is a luncheon, dinner and then an official birthday blast at a special dinner Saturday night! Truly grateful and blessed!
Seen while shopping
On a recent trip to the Georgia mountains, we ventured out to the cute and historic town of Clarkesville. Upon entering an adorable home decor shop, we were greeted by this adorable honey bee table. And yes, some of these super cute gold bee spoons came home with us! Did you even have to ask? LOL
Discoveries We Love
While in Clarkesville, GA we strolled into a large and fabulous antique store, Elizabeth & Company. We were quickly greeted by the sweet and energetic owner, Elizabeth. She and her mom work together – you know how much we love mother/daughter teams! Elizabeth is a whiz with painting furniture and she introduced a new-to-us paint. So, we couldn’t resist purchasing some paint and our next project!

Bunny Blackburn walked past this 1926 Georgian Revival home, her entire life in Nashville. She was infatuated and in love. Fast forward to her adult life – and her husband says “Well your favorite house is on the market”. Needless to say, the rest is history. You can see more of this gorgeous home and read about Bunny’s dream come to life.
Favorite Kitchen Decorating
Whitetail Farmhouse gives us all the feels with their stunning, award-winning kitchen design. Can you believe that this is a brand new home?
During our Clarkesville trip, we had the pleasure of dining at the Lake Rabun Hotel. As if their picturesque setting weren’t enough, the cozy fire-lit restaurant was filled with local art. This painting truly spoke to me and captured the essence of our trip. A sweet couple, spending time away canoeing in the mountains.
