Our fall family room decor is simple and cozy.
In most homes, the family room is probably the most used. The name alone lends itself to a place where family gathers. At my house this space is really a sunroom that also houses my workspace. What I love most is how the room is flooded with natural light all day long. It is probably my most favorite room in the house. Being that you can see this room from practically every angle in the house, I wanted to keep the fall family room decor simple and cozy.
Pops of Color
The walls are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy, while the rest of the decor is mainly white. Pops of orange look beautiful and draw your eye into the room.
Mixing pattern and texture is fun too.
The Fall Vignette with Pumpkins and Copper was the inspiration for the fall room decor.
Back in April when I visited Nashville with my girlfriends, I purchased this painting. Paired with my DIY Copper Spice Candle and this adorable wheelbarrow – it’s an instant vignette.
This side of the room has the most sunlight during the day.
An old apple cider bottle made for a perfect vase. I simply added faux fall leaves, dried pods and sticks.
My vintage typewriter is one of my most prized possessions.
An antique amber tobacco bottle catches the sunlight perfectly in this spot. A feather looks perfect nestled inside.
Our fall family room decor is simple and cozy. Just yesterday I curled up on the sofa to read a book, while watching football. I hope you have found some inspiration in this space.
