This is it – the day we have all been waiting for! Our blue and white bathroom makeover is complete and today is the big reveal!

After just 6 short weeks the guest bathroom has been completely transformed. There wasn’t one surface left untouched – except for the bathtub.I am very proud to say that I completed 95% of this project all by myself. There definitely were some challenging moments, but I toughed it out and learned some new skills. So let’s get on with it and see my blue and white bathroom makeover reveal! As a refresher, here’s what I started with:

BEFORE

NOW

I had to be a bit of a contortionist to take these photographs LOL. This bathrooms does not have a single window or one bit of natural light.  I was standing in the corner behind the toilet, ducking down on the floor under the mirror – it was hysterical.

Yes, I painted the tile floor to look like marble!

Now
A tutorial will be following soon. Being that I was on a budget for this bathroom makeover, I had to get creative with my finishes.

All new hardware was installed and I chose champagne bronze finish.

Liberty Hardware pulls and knobs look beautiful with the newly blue painted vanity.

The Countertop was painted too!

My heart was set on having a bright white countertop – until I discovered how expensive it was going to be to purchase a new one. I found a product that allowed me to paint my beige countertop to have the glossy white countertop of my dreams. Another tutorial to follow.

The glass tile on the feature wall is peel and stick from Aspect. I chose the color Frost.

We added a new light fixture and raised it higher on the wall by 12 inches.

The mirror was repurposed as I already it stored in my closet. You can see that tutorial HERE.

Thank goodness my hydrangeas chose yesterday to bloom!

This Delta Dryden faucet is a beauty!

The new faucet and fixtures are from Delta in the Dryden line. Again, I installed them all myself with their easy to follow directions.

And I painted the shower tiles

Being that I painted the floor tiles, the shower tiles needed to be painted too. At first I was going to do a faux marble treatment on them as well. As the bathroom makeover progressed, I felt that this was going to be too busy. I opted to paint the tiles light gray. Tutorial to follow.

I got a great deal on the heavy duty kitchen cabinet at Lowe’s. After priming and painting, it now looks fabulous hanging on the wall next to the shower.

I can’t believe how different the bathroom looks. Honey Bee was out of town on a business trip, so he didn’t see the room coming in the final few days. When he returned last night I was so happy and proud when he said “Oh my God, this is beautiful! The bathroom looks so much larger now.”

Thank you for following along for the past few weeks. I hope you love my blue and white bathroom makeover reveal! Now I’m going to soak my aching muscles LOL.
