It’s that time of year… All is Calm Christmas Bedroom

Truth be told, I have never decorated my bedroom for Christmas before. But, I have always wanted to. Years of flipping through beautiful pages of Christmas magazines or scrolling past gorgeous Pinterest and Instagram feeds I would tuck away ideas in the back of my mind. Those rooms always looked so peaceful and romantic. Well, this is the year! Jenn and I invited 30 of our design blogging friends to share our favorite rooms in our homes and decorate them for Christmas. Welcome to Come Home for Christmas – Room to Room. Today’s tour is all about bedroom’s.

Master Bedroom

This is the entrance into the master bedroom. The Palladian window bathes the room with natural light all day long. Unlike most people, I took our room from a neutral color palette and added color. Personally I love shades of blues and teals in a bedroom. When I added the flocked Christmas tree and plugged in the lights the entire room looked beautiful. Instantly I knew that the theme would be All is Calm Christmas Bedroom. There is something truly magical about a Christmas tree and lights in the bedroom.

The sweet painted deer and pillow was created by our friend Lucy of  Craftberry Bush. Personally I think the painted armoire and painted chair look even better next to twinkle lights.

I borrowed the book page magnolia wreath from the guest bedroom to hang on the vintage gate piece above the mantel headboard.

Most of these white houses are painted DIY projects. I’m so glad that they are popular this year!

Snow globes in cloches and jars are one of my most favorite things to do each Christmas in my decor. They are so easy, fun and versatile to do. For this one I just added some faux snow in the bottom of a glass canister, and placed a deer ornament and a mercury glass tree. That’s it…easy-peasy!

There really is no truer statement is there?

My little vintage dresser got a little feminine holiday touch too.

My family knows that Santa has been my boyfriend my entire life LOL!

Who knew that pink bottlebrush trees could be so cute in a jar?  Paired with mercury glass, especially with candlelight they look even more beautiful.

I have an extensive Santa collection (sadly stuck in storage) but we did manage to find this one.

My nightstand got some more sparkle and shine with this beautiful oversized mercury glass bowl, which I use as a candleholder.

Now please do not judge my nighttime photo skills, as I do not have any LOL. But, I wanted to try and show you what the room looks like at night..
