Welcome to Week 5 of the One Room Challenge She Shed transformation. Right about now we are wondering “what the heck were we thinking?”. We are each out of town on separate vacations but we are confident that we will complete this project on time. We aren’t panicked – yet – and we have until next week before the big reveal!

Here’s a peek at what we have accomplished this week.

This post is sponsored by our fabulous partnerships with Minted and nuLOOM. All thoughts and reviews are 100% our own!

Our art work from Minted has arrived and we are in love! We cannot wait to get the pieces hung and they will look perfect in the shed. The painting is by an Alex Elko Design and the colors were exactly what we were looking for. The cow photograph by Emily Gilbert was just too sweet to pass up.

If you aren’t familiar with Minted, or only know them for their cards, it is also a design marketplace featuring fresh, curated art from their community of independent artists around the world. They offer 17 exclusively designed frames, from simple profiles made in Italy to reclaimed barnwood (our fave), vintage-inspired carved, and metal. The artwork is printed on museum-quality, cotton rag archival paper, so really great quality. Minted also does art styling, as well as commissioned art originals.

We can’t wait to show you how they look once we’ve they’re on the wall…

Also, we have finally installed a new light fixture, which is a HUGE improvement from the fluorescent light that had been in the shed. We found this one for only $45 at HomeGoods.

If you follow us on Instagram, you would have seen that our rug from nuLOOM arrived and it is perfect. We absolutely love the design and it compliments the room so well. Plus, the quality is amazing…it’s really going to tie the space all together.

Another big project we’ve been working on is a fire pit area just outside the shed. We thought it would be a great idea to continue the entertainment space to the outside and will have such a nice flow between the two areas. That is if we can stop the leaves from falling haha…

This week is the final push to get everything done! As we mentioned, with both of us being out of town it does not help our schedule, but we work great under pressure. Be sure to come back next week for the final reveal…we can’t wait! Also, be sure to visit Calling it Home to see the progress of other bloggers who are participating.
