Favorite Decor and Design Books for Inspiration

This week I can honestly say – Thank God it’s Friday! Do you ever have one of those weeks where you stand back and proclaim “so glad that’s over!”? Thankfully these kind of weeks are a rarity for me. One thing I notice when I do experience a bad week is that I find it hard to fill my creativity tank. Being creative is super important to me. It’s more than just being creative for my job – this blog. Expressing creativity fills my soul and renews my spirit. Affiliate links provided for your convenience.

I am at my happiest when I am decorating my home. When I find myself in a creativity funk, I turn to decor and design books for inspiration. Not to copy anyone else’s style or designs, but to escape into the pages of pretty pictures and pages in the books.

Here are my newest favorite decor and design books. They are currently all on sale for fantastic low prices! Just click the title or the book for more information.

Nate Berkus – The Things That Matter

The Things That Matter is not a new book, and Jenn gifted me this copy several years ago. I absolutely love Nate Berkus – I even refer to him as my boyfriend. Not only is he super adorable, Nate is also a very caring and talented designer.

Have you seen his new TV show – Nate & Jeremiah By Design? OMG it makes me love him more. He and Jeremiah tackle a different home each week to overhaul a house where homeowners are in over their heads. Some have busted their budgets, their timelines or should never have started a renovation to begin with. Do yourselves a favor and tune in on Saturday nights on TLC!

Nate has impeccable style with insightful meaning. This is why his book is my favorite.
