Have I told y’all yet how much I am loving buffalo check this Christmas?! Well in case you’ve missed, which I’ve been saying pretty much every five minutes, I do 🙂 Yesterday I showed you my Buffalo Check Tablescape, which you can see here. Today, I am showing you my Buffalo Check Christmas Mantel. I sense a certain theme happening in the dining room haha. Mom and I have been collecting buffalo check items when we would see them out and about. I was afraid it was a little overload, but seeing it all come together, I am rest assured it is not. You can’t have too much buffalo check.
After much thought, we decided that the Christmas ornmament tree we made would be better suited for my house. #Winning! It is such a large piece, so naturally it serves as the anchor of the Christmas mantel. Even though we had to purchase some buffalo check decor for my theme, I didn’t want it to break the bank. I incpororated a lot of items I already had, like the loving cup and spools. One thing I did purchase was this buffalo check banner, which I love! I got it for $3 at Target. I ended up buying a few of them, which I also used for decor on the spools, as well as ornaments I made for the tree. It was definitley a great purchase.
Also, I know I mention this pretty much anytime I take pictures of the dining room, but my favorite feature in the room is the iron fireplace cover. The piece is very much me and I’m so incredibly lucky that it came with the house.
Don’t y’all think the Christmas tree ornament display fits my house better, haha?!
I just love this buffalo check garland…too cute!
All I had to do was cut the string the garland was on to get the individual trees off.
I made these mason jar displays years ago and I use them in my decor every Christmas.
I hope y’all enjoyed my buffalo check Christmas mantel and that it’s given you some ideas for your own home.
