DIY Etched Beer Glasses

Are you ready for some football?! Our family definitely is. Tomorrow is the official beginning of college football season and we couldn’t be more excited. Honey Bee actually played football for the University of Miami, so we are definitely cheering them on. Jenn is an alum of University of Alabama and they have traditionally had a very successful and high energy football program for decades.  We love to watch our fave games on big-screen TV’s, munching on our favorite snacks and drinking a nice cool beer. During our move a box of our mugs got broken. DIY Etched Beer Glasses are the perfect replacement and a fun way to start the new football season.

I used the same glass etching cream, Armour Etch for these glasses. Take extra care when using this product as it is acidic and should not come in contact with your skin. I highly recommend wearing gloves. (This post contains affiliate links.)

These stencils are made specifically for etching glass. This glass was created for Honey Bee.

I added a thick layer of the etching cream to the stenciled glass. The cream only needs to stay on the glass for one minute for the magic to work. Rinse off the cream thoroughly with cool water.

Easy, peasy. This will also be a great way to keep track of whose glass is whose.

 

I made different phrases and monograms on each pilsner beer glass.

One of our favorite football game snacks is a super easy recipe for Ranch Oyster Crackers. I whipped up a quick batch for the games and got these cute little cups for us to use.

 

You’ll be able to hear us cheer, scream and maybe curse during the games. We can’t wait to shout out “Roll Tide”  and “Go Canes” while high-fiving each other with intermittent chest bumps.

We will excitedly be watching other games as well…we love football that much! What team will you be rooting for?
