Hey y’all…HAPPY NEW YEAR! We trust that you have been having a wonderful holiday season. We know we say it every year, but where did the time go?! It seems like we blinked and it is already 2016!
Typically the week between Christmas and the New Year we spend time reflecting and remembering the past year. The good, the bad, what worked and what didn’t work. Even when things didn’t work out exactly as we hoped, we learned a great deal from the experiences.
Professionally speaking, this has been a banner year for 2 Bees in a Pod. We have YOU, our fabulous readers to thank for this! Without you and your generous spirits, giving nature and positive encouragement – this blog would not be possible.
In 2015 2 Bees in a Pod
- gained thousands of new followers – Thank you, Grazie, Merci, Gracias. This means so much to us!
- started working with loyal sponsors
We dream of the things we would like to improve or change as we usher in the new year. Y’all were so gracious to complete our survey form. Your input is very valuable so that we make sure we are giving you exactly what you want. You even took the time to write us private, personal messages! Your comments let us know that we are on the right track. We are happy to know that you love, what we love.

What You Don’t Want:
- Link Party
We must say, we hear you loud and clear about the link party. We feel it is important to let you know why we do the link party. It is a way for us to be connected with fellow bloggers. We form a community of support, encouragement and promotion that helps each and every one of our blogs grow and possibly gain some notoriety. It is also a forum for bloggers to feel confident and welcome to share their ideas. We strongly feel it is important to support our community of bloggers and friends. We hope that you can be inspired and gain some insight and ideas for your own home decor and projects.
With the recipes the survey was 50/50 %. We will do recipes seasonally in the future.
Another decision that we have made is to blog four days a week from now on. Running a blog takes lots of work and we strongly feel we can do an even better job with this new schedule. We will be posting Monday through Thursday every week. We will still be working on Fridays but it will be behind the scenes action.
So…with all of this being said – we are very excited for what 2016 holds for us. We have a lot of special things planned and can’t wait for you to follow along! We love to receive blog comments and email messages from you…keep them coming! We are also open to any and all ideas that you have – we would love to hear from you!
