Hey y’all! I am excited to share with you a simple Fall mantel I did for our Living Room.  If you remember a few weeks ago when I shared my Dining Room Mantel with you, I mentioned that I have four fireplaces in our new home.  I love having them so much and it gives me more spaces to decorate! Our Living Room mantel is original to the home and it has been restored to its natural wood. To be honest, this isn’t my favorite shade, but I can’t bring myself to touch it…plus it’s growing on me.

I wanted to keep things simple and use more neutral colors in the decor. I found these great tiger stripe pumpkins at the grocery store, as well as the wheat. The tiger pumpkins really gave me inspiration for the use of green in the décor.

I love this acorn I found for $2 at a thrift store!

I love the little pops of orange and green on these pumpkins…

I painted card stock in a metallic green color and then used chalk to write “Fall”. Such a simple craft, but I think it turned out great in the space.

I’m really loving the look of wheat right now and had to incorporate some of it somehow 🙂

Don’t you love this rustic apple basket? Mom was generous enough to give me a few from her stash along with this amazing Cynthia Rowley throw she found at T.J. Maxx.

To be honest with you, I’ve been feeling a little uninspired with décor lately and have been having a hard time decorating much of anything in my home. Seeing those tiger stripe pumpkins at the store was just the inspiration I needed to get back at it and I love how my Living Room Fall Mantel turned out. I’m hoping to tackle my entryway this weekend with some Fall décor, so stay tuned.

XO – Jenn

  1. Jen. I love your fall mantel and how fun it must be to have 4 fireplaces. It looks adorable from the pumpkins to the fall banner to the wheat. Have a great day Xo Lisa

    1. Thank you very much Lisa! I am very fortunate to have 4 fireplaces in my “new” home. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Jenn this is such a beautiful fireplace! I love how you added the pops of color with the pumpkins. And stop it already with those glittered clothespins! Great job, CoCo
