Kitchen Desk Update…

Well…this is too embarrassing to write write about – let alone actually show you photographs. I have been lacking some inspiration of late. Last week I showed you my fireplace mantel spruce up. After you see the following photos I’m sure you are wondering – “Why in the world didn’t she start here”. Truth be told, I couldn’t decide where to start or what I wanted to do.

Jennifer and I have always told you we would be real and honest with you…here goes. This is what my kitchen desk area typically looks like on any given day.

Kitchen Desk area - spruce up. Brought in aqua and turquoise glass as well as vintage items and moss.I know…not super horrible, but bad enough.  When company comes over, that center drawer opens up and all of the junk slides in their very easily…too easily. But, then the crap makes its way back out into the light of day – like it always does.

How do you like my handy dandy jewelry holder. It’s really an incense holder that I brought home from our wonderful trip to South Korea – you know, for my Zen moments of cleanliness.

I gathered vintage aqua and turquoise glass, some wooden pieces and changed out most of what was previously in this space.I also kept my favorite items.
