Fall Tablescape with a Touch of Turquoise and Copper

When I decided to do my Fall tablescape this year, I knew that I wanted it to be different from years past – I wanted to bring in a little color.  My dining room is very neutral so I knew I needed a pop of something so that it would stand out and not blend in with everything else in the room.  I decided to use turquoise and copper.  I have a bit of  turquoise in other rooms of my house and I love how copper shimmers and compliments the bright turquoise.

I love this turquoise peacock pattern china. It perfectly matched my large square plates. A great combination and colorful Fall tablescape.

I already had the large square dinner plates.  I picked up the beautiful peacock luncheon plates at TJ Maxx and they match my square plates perfectly.  Each place setting has:

  • a vintage ink well ( I have a collection)
  • peacock feathers from my stash :)
  • a framed vintage photograph of each dinner guest
  • a plaster leaf that I made a couple of weeks ago
  • peacock ribbon embellishment to a white napkin

I added plaster leaves and feathers to an aged wine vine branch in the center of the table.

I spray painted pumpkins with hammered copper.  I just love this vintage photo of my Honey Bee!

Vintage inkwells and framed vintage photographs compliment each place setting. The use of turquoise and copper brighten the dining room with this Fall tablescape. The peacock feathers add a touch of whimsy

For the chandelier I laid curly willow branches around the arms and added round peacock  feather ornaments.

Copper pick-berries, branches from my yard and white plaster leaves decorate this vase on the sideboard.

Copper pick berries, white plaster leaves and collected branches sit atop the dining room sideboard as a compliment to the Fall tablescape.

Hmm…I wonder who that cute little girl is :)

Aged wine vine is the perfect centerpiece for Fall. With the addition of white plaster leaves and peacock feathers is a touch of whimsy

Great job!! I was just wondering where you purchased those square turquoise plates? I’m looking for something exactly like that. Any suggestions to where I could find something like that? Thank You.

Thanks Harleen! We got our plates from one of our favorite stores, Homegoods. We typically have luck there, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls for any homewares.
