We are over the moon – our blog is one month old!  We have had so much fun sharing our little projects and stories with y’all.  We wanted to do a recap of this first month and share what worked…and what didn’t 🙂  We have definitely learned a lot!

We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that we have been shown.  Family, friends and total strangers.  Your positive comments and feedback have meant more to us than you will ever know.  Knowing that you would take the time to let us know that you like or appreciate a post or a photo really touches us.

“I’m so excited for you & Jennifer…the site is beautiful. Looking forward to following your great adventure (& venture).” – Susan

” Many congratulations! You will do a fantastic job in your business. You have the passion and the fine taste!!” – Elizabeth

“Your blog is lovely! I’m looking forward to following you and your daughter. Congratulations” – Sally

“Great website! Looking so forward to seeing more of your beautiful creations.” – Bambi

We are shocked that we have thousands of people viewing our website a week – isn’t that astounding?

When you follow us on social media – we get excited!  Pinterest is like winning the lottery.  The first time an original post was Pinned we jumped up and down like we truly won something.  Our posts have now been Pinned and rePinned and it is a very thrilling feeling.

Each time you press the Facebook “Like” button  at the end of each post is energizing for us…you like me – you really like me :).

As we have watched our 2 Bees in a Pod Facebook followers numbers grow, we too are encouraged to grow and keep going.

Being contacted by other bloggers that have offered encouragement or positive feedback.  To us, other bloggers are like rock stars – so for them to reach out to us is awe-inspiring.  Thank you!

Not Working:

Don’t paint primed furniture that has been cooking in 94 degree weather in your driveway – the paint will sizzle and then bubble.  Not fun having to sand a piece of furniture and start over.

Need major improvement in photography 🙂 Keep our image out of the shot

Don’t do too many taste tests when making the Bees Knees cocktail – you may not be able to do anything else for several hours 🙂  And what is all of that junk in the background?

Do not take photographs looking directly into the sun…

Always have the magical healing aloe plant close by when using the glue gun – burned every time.

Thank you again for all of your support and kind words!  We are enjoying this time spent together, creating projects with lots of laughs and we are happy to be able to share them with you.  We can’t wait to see what the next month brings!
